I've been pushing low-VOC paint for a while now, but I know that painting in general takes a lot of time and energy. Who needs the hassle, right? If you've been too busy or uninspired to try low-VOC paints in your home, then I'm here to help — with a lot of help from CertaPro.

To wind up this month's theme of Eco Chic, CertaPro is giving away its services to provide paint for one room in your home (an approximate $1000 value). All of the materials and labor will be included in this prize. All you have to do is pick out the room color! CertaPro will do everything from provide the paint to move the furniture to follow up after the job is complete.

Design*Sponge Eames Arm Shell Rocker Giveaway!

Considering that this beautiful rocker is in the top two of my long-term furniture wish list, I'm kind of in shock. I have to win . . . I've been obsessed with this piece for years, and I finally have a shot. I understand that now that I've shared, my chances of winning have decreased significantly, but it's such a good giveaway: I had to let you know.

A lot of you have emailed me asking about the west elm sweepstakes, which is officially closed for entries. As you know, we have finally chosen a winner in the $5,000 wish list contest, and last week, I told you to check your email to see if you'd gotten an email from us.

Well, you can all stop stressing about whether you missed the email, because we have now heard from the winner and are in the process of verifying the winner's eligibility.
