For this past
What You're Wanting, I thought I'd give you a chance to design your own version of Carrie Bradshaw's apartment.
One look that really caught my eye was put together by
Sundaygreen, who wrote "I think Carrie would pick out classic staples (chairs and other furniture) and build upon that with accessories and other 'this and that' items. Let's face it, she wasn't always in the money, and I'd imagine her collective interior style to be more haphazard than anything else (much like her wardrobe?) — but always reflecting her stylish taste and sometime quirkiness."

Since you seem to be loving my
Sex and the City posts, I thought I'd give you a chance to design your own Sex and the City-inspired pad. In particular, I'd like you to try your hand at designing Carrie Bradshaw's apartment. Many of you absolutely adored the
redecorated pad, but some of you weren't so thrilled.

Yesterday I gave you some details from
Carrie's redecorated apartment. I'm back today with a few more ideas, and I'll also help you to
get the look of her place as well.
Jeremy Conway, the production designer for
Sex and the City, gave me some great tips about the products He told me that he custom mixes all of his colors, but the brilliant, lovely ocean blue on Carrie's walls is very close to Benjamin Moore's Electric Blue.

After my
preview of the SATC movie last week, I was inspired to create even more home décor looks based on some of the most striking frocks worn by Carrie Bradshaw in the television series. Here, Carrie strolls in cheeky ruffled pink Louboutins, a pleated and lace Michael Kors dress and her brocade MoMo Falana coat. To see some of the home finds I found that are inspired by this getup, read more.
Subdued eggplant, punches of pink, and lace and pleats for texture make up this bedroom inspired by Carrie's Season Four getup.
