Did you know that digital TV viewers in the UK spend an average of
three and a half hours a week channel surfing? The results didn't indicate whether the participants (aged 16-20) had DVRs, which I'm assuming would alter the total amount of time. Ever since my TiVo entered my life, I no longer have to worry about bouncing around from channel to channel, hoping to find something that peaks my interest — because I always have hours of taped shows that I know I'll love.

I've recently gotten hooked on the bizarre detective/sci-fi hybrid show
Life on Mars. The show follows NYPD Detective Sam Tyler's trials and travails when he's transported back to 1973 after being hit by a car in present-day New York. Yeah, I know it sounds odd, but it's pretty compelling prime-time television.

Though not as hilarious as Audrina learning about the
Large Hadron Collider, but adorable for a different reason, this video of
Björk demonstrating what goes on inside the guts of a television is my new favorite YouTube video.
Listen to her (I could listen to her explain just about anything in that Icelandic accent) tell you what she learned from her Danish television book, and of course, the lies she endured from poets. Trust me: it makes sense after you watch the video.

If you're in the market for a new HDTV and are ready to plunk down your money for that new set — hold off! The prices of HDTVs
are expected to plummet in the coming months, which can mean huge savings for you.
There are a number of factors that may lead to LCD and Plasma TV prices hitting the deck this shopping season, one of which is the economy.

I have a soft spot for makeovers, even ones on television sitcoms. Remember when I asked you if you'd ever
been tricked about an apartment? Betty Suarez, one of my favorite characters on television today, certainly was.

The couple's quiz stumped some lilsugar readers while others passed with flying colors so let's give blended families a go. See if you can tally up the grand total of children between these two television parents — one is a recent show and others are blasts back to the past. Test your knowledge by taking this quiz!

We know the
Gosselin family has a loyal fan base and we think it's deservedly so. Daddy Jon and mama Kate make the most of their life with eight darling kiddos that light up the screen. From hectic grocery runs to chaotic birthday parties, the family somehow seems to manage it all with a bit of elbow grease and plenty of smiles.

MTV may be on a
"Green Crusade" but for one piece of Panama's rain forest, actions speak louder than words. After filming the latest Road Rules/Real World Challenge, MTV took trashy TV to a new level,
turning part of a rain forest into a garbage dump.
MTV's green offenses include: clearing a large section of rain forest for the set, trashing a pristine beach, disturbing an off-limits bird sanctuary island, and leaving behind large amounts of trash and debris.

In a deal between
Fox and star chef
Gordon Ramsay, the chef has signed on for at least two more seasons of
Hell's Kitchen and
Kitchen Nightmares, a live cooking special, and — get this — yet another series.
Ramsay's third show will be based on his current British series Man Camp, a sort of
boot camp for men, who are put through physical and intellectual challenges.
The live cooking special will encourage "young, vibrant, and tenacious" viewers to cook a meal with the chef at home.

In the third episode of
Top Design, the designers switched from
outfitting bunkers to backdropping high fashion. Working in teams of two, the designers were challenged to create window displays for gorgeous fashions designed by Jeffrey, Sweet P, Daniel, Andrae, and Santino, contestants from prior seasons of
Project Runway.
It was definitely fun to see each of the fashion designers' looks, from Santino's macabre, black-swathed mannequin to Sweet P's bright, color-drunk mannequin.
