Yesterday
Lean Cuisine's parent company,
Nestlé Prepared Foods,
recalled approximately 879,565 pounds of frozen chicken meals.
According to the US Department of Agriculture and Food Safety, the meals may contain foreign materials like small pieces of plastic.
To find out what exactly is being recalled, .

One of the few things that most parents are willing to put some good money into is a safe and sturdy crib for their newborn. Couples spend hours fretting over which crib seems safest causing some to spend thousands of dollars while others find bargain deals at less than $100. Unfortunately, those who suspected they got a good deal on a Delta crib may have to check their model and year.

My heart stops anytime I hear pet food recall news and, sadly, it doesn't seem like
this issue will be fixed anytime soon. Luckily, North's brand has never been recalled but I now know what to do if I've got any suspicions.
If you think something is wrong with your furry friend's food – problems, adverse reactions, infestations, etc.

America is moving one more step closer to awareness of where its food comes from.
The
US Department of Agriculture has mandated that all produce as well as meat, fish, and poultry sold in US retail stores will be required to have country of origin labels (COOL) beginning next Tuesday, Sept. 30.

I'm kind of a stickler about pet food. North eats pretty well, and I personally wouldn't have it any other way. So if
the last pet food scare had you up in arms, then you should take notice to this news.

Yikes!
Nestlé Prepared Foods, the manufacturer of
Hot Pockets, is recalling more than 215,000 pounds of Hot Pockets Pepperoni Pizza after
several pieces of red, hard plastic and clear rubber material were discovered inside some of the pockets. The recall is for 54-ounce, 12-pack cartons of Hot Pockets Pepperoni Pizza with the following codes printed on the sides of each carton: 8157544614D, EST 7721A, and BEST BEFORE JAN2010.

If your dog has a
Four Paws Pimple Ball in his possession, you might want to take note: the product has been recalled after news of a severe injury was caused from playing with the toy.
I came across
the cringe worthy story the other day and haven't been able to get it out of my head! Chai, a 10 year-old Lab mix, was chewing on the toy when his tongue got stuck in the hole of the ball, leading to the amputation of his tongue!
Yet Another Recall? Beef From Whole Foods Sorry to spread the bad news, but we have yet another recall to deal with. Whole Foods voluntarily recalled more than 1.2 million pounds of ground beef that has come from Coleman Natural Beef's Nebraska Beef processing plant.
