When the ground is wet, are your pets playing in the splashy puddles or slinking around with tentative steps?

When other people are wishing it were still Summer, I'm savoring the Fall air. But even though I love Fall, I admit that this in-between season can be difficult for planning ahead since there's always a possibility of rain, wind, or chills. Fortunately, I've got a list of things to do if you wake up to a gray morning when you expect sun.

Unless you live in a perpetually dry desert where it never rains, I bet you enjoy an occasional rainstorm pounding on your house. It's all fun and games and cozy on a Friday night, when you've got nothing to do but watch a scary movie. That is, unless you've got a leaky gutter that leaves your house with water damage.

Danny Seo recently shared a wonderful tip
on his blog to keep water from rushing out of your gutters too quickly, and I had to share. "Just connect a chain to the downspout of your gutters and let the rain slowly and gently trickle all the way down the chain," he says. The softening rain chain creates a beautiful sound when the rain dances down the chain, adding a sweet musical element to your home.

Even though Summer air is so hot and humid, I still try to exercise outdoors. The other day as I set out for a run, I noticed a light sprinkle in the air; I was so relieved. Rain can definitely keep you cool, and it can also be more challenging than exercising in dry weather.

I'm still very drawn to cobalt blue, it's such a great colour and the perfect way to brighten up an outfit without it being overpowering. The great thing about the hoody that
quelle is wearing is that it looks a bit like a really soft fabric pea coat! It's a great
casual day outfit especially with the oversized bag.

Dressing for rainy days is notoriously difficult but it's always a great idea to brighten up a dull day with a bright coloured outfit. Sugar reader
hell00kitty did just that with her
rainy day outfit. I'm now wishing my skin tone wasn't quite so pale so that I could wear such a great colour!
Here's what she's wearing:
- Jacket: Gap
- Jeans: Forever 21
- Boots: Mia
- Umbrella: united colors of benetton

The UK weather at the moment has gone a step passed April showers with the rain rarely letting up. Good job then that some people (including sugar reader
mulatoqt) have got
dressing for the rain down to a fine art. I love the shoes!

British weather is always unpredictable but April is especially bad, particularly with the showers we're currently experiencing! Therefore, it's great to have a chic outfit for rainy days, one that won't leave you cold and wet (so no ballet pumps!)
We
featured these boots earlier today so I'll start you off with a black pair of
wellington boots from Burberry (£175) which are surely the chicest way to keep your toes dry.
