For those of you who decided to splurge on the
Peacock Chair, I have found the perfect lamp shade to go with it! And for those who restrained themselves, I've got a more affordable ostentatious bird for you. The
Anthropologie Plumage Shade ($108) is embroidered in silk with peacocks strutting about a navy cotton background.

I have to say, Anthropologie has a great talent for
catching my eye, and this new photo from its catalog has given me serious room-decorating envy. I love the saturated wall colors and the interplay of blue and green patterns, including that stunning
peacock sofa. Sometimes an overabundance of color is simply too much for the eye to take in, but this room is, in my opinion, positively splendid.

Peacocks are one of my favorite animals. Every time I go to
the zoo, I'm taken aback by how sightly they are compared to the rest of the animals. Before I get to gushing about this Fabworthy
Elizabeth and James Tulip Dress ($495), I have to ask: Did you know that male peacocks are more beautiful than their female counterparts?

The
peacock trend ($18) seems to still be in full effect, if this
peacock frame from Urban Outfitters is any indication. The 3-x-5-inch fabric-covered frame may be just the thing for displaying that beloved
pet portrait.

It's an interspecies brawl, y'all! This peacock, knowing that there's a barrier between them, picks a fight with
a pug. What a punk!
