Sneak Peek! Marc Jacobs's Homage to Stephen Sprouse

Try to peel your eyes of Marc Jacobs's glistening bod and focus on the bag.

The graffiti prints and Day-Glo colors are all part of the Louis Vuitton's limited-edition capsule collection honoring the late Stephen Sprouse.

In his homage, Jacobs uses Sprouse's famous graffiti and rose prints to create a pop art collection of bags, footwear, and clothes. “It’s this idea of a head-to-toe look in this brash, neon, rock ’n’ roll, edgy, street-informed style," said Jacobs. Sprouse really best personified it.”

The exclusive collection debuts next month along with a special website dedicated to Sprouse dubbed welovesprouse.com. The site, set to go live Dec. 15., will feature cool interviews from people who knew Sprouse and their commentary on how he influenced fashion and art.

Madonna to be New Face of Louis Vuitton

Madonna, who has been mingling with Posh and Becks in the wake of her recent divorce plans, may have a new gig. There have been rumours for the last week or so that the material girl may be starring in the Spring 2009 ads for Louis Vuitton. This week, however, the UK press are running with the story and it seems that Madonna is indeed set to be the new face of the luxury French fashion house.

Apparently photographer Steven Meisel will be shooting the campaign and not Mert and Marcus as previously expected. Meisel was the photographer for Madonna's infamous Sex book back in 1992 as well as working with her in the May issue of Vanity Fair. Madonna looked amazing on the cover of the magazine so no wonder if she chooses Meisel to collaborate with her for the Louis Vuitton ads.

At the moment Louis Vuitton's spokespeople are refusing to comment at all on the campaign. Personally though I think Madonna will work well as the face of such an established and luxury brand. How about you, what do you think of this news?

Could it be true? Rumor has it Louis Vuitton has nabbed Madonna for its Spring campaign. According to sources, the ads were photographed by Steven Meisel. Meisel and the material girl have shared a long history of working together. His latest (confirmed) shoot with Madonna was for the May cover of Vanity Fair. We're bubbling with excitement.

This season we are truly seeing the return of the great supermodel, as age defying beauties like Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell continue to dominate the magazines. Whether appearing in shoots for glossies (like Crawford appearing in this month's French Vogue) or heading ad campaigns (like Campbell for for YSL) it seems you can't escape these beautiful ladies.

This week it has been revealed that Claudia Schiffer is to be the face of Yves Saint Laurent's Spring '09 campaign following in the footsteps of Campbell. Schiffer revealed the news at Vogue's party on Monday night where she wore a gorgeous dress from Louis Vuitton's Autumn line.

She also added that she would be working with Dolce & Gabbana and Salvatore Ferragamo for Spring too. The YSL ad campaign was shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin last month in LA.

Trend Alert: Leopard Print Scarf

The leopard print scarf trend is by no means a new development. Kate Moss rocked the style back in 2007 along with Sienna Miller, Ashley Olsen and Jessica Simpson, and this Autumn it's back with a vengeance. A few weeks ago Kelly Osbourne marked the beginning of a cooler season with hers, and yesterday Trinny Woodall and Coleen Rooney showed off theirs. The list of celebs is seemingly endless but I guess what you really want to know is where can you get your hands on the scarf?

Most of it's celeb fans have the original Louis Vuitton scarf (£375) I'm sure it's soft and luxe, but sadly this would set me back a month's rent. Luckily I found a great alternative at Topshop (£16) that won't make you part of the credit crunch.

I love finding celebrity pets' goodies, and it's rare when I'm not 100 percent sure if I've IDed it. So I'm letting you make the call – this Louis Vuitton Monogram Baxter Dog Leash ($330) is currently sold out online but from the product picture and my zoomed-in one of her mini Doxie, the pattern's outline appears slightly off, no?Both pups have matchy matchy collar and leashes – that would total $1,290 if the real thing – in addition to ones that match each other, making this quite the upgrade from the Puppia/bandana combo we've spotted in the past.
