Telling you about the fashion world's current penchant for leather trousers gives me the same sick feeling as when I reported the reemergence of the bare midrift. It's not a trend that should be approached lightly but it was seen on the catwalk at Givenchy and has now been worn by British fashionistas Alexa Chung and Emma Watson.

It's a trend that should be approached with a skip full of caution and is certainly not for the faint hearted. Last month I asked you if you would wear leather trousers following their appearance on the catwalk at Givenchy. Most of you were willing to try the trend but now that it has hit the High Street I wanted to find out how you felt about these trousers.The leather zip trousers (£95) are from Topshop and feature an exposed zip. They're skinny on the leg meaning they're pretty unforgiving. What do you think? Do you love them or hate them?
