I'm not sure how much I'm in favour of certain Autumn trends. First of all there is the resurgence of loafers which have left me feeling a bit unsure (and it seems you are too) but now I'm left contemplating leather trousers. They appeared on the catwalk at Givenchy and Balenciaga and now even Principles are offering a pair.
Kate Moss famously wore a pair at Glastonbury last year and Agyness Deyn followed suit for T4 on the Beach.
Ignore the strangely ghoulish look on the model's face and take a look at this Marc by Marc Jacobs Leather Dress ($828). The shift-shaped cut and slight cowl neck lend a classy '70s vibe and I'm loving the zipper detailing on the back. Rarely do I see a leather dress done right so props to Marc.

You were understandably enthusiastic about the aptly named Lady Chair. However, I have a hard time imagining those of you who cohabitate with a manly man getting even the smallest, riveted corner of the Lady Chair in your door. If that's the case, then I present you with a testosterone-friendly option: the Cotswald Chair ($1,998) from Anthropologie.

There are some leather couches that are simply stunning and there are others that should stay in the frat house. I once lived in a house right out of college that had two separate leather couches (which were owned by two rather frat-like dudes). Those were definitely not crave worthy, and I have a feeling that some of you ladies have had to live with men who refused to give up their "cool" leather couches.
So tell me, have you had to live with a leather couch that didn't strike your fancy.

Listening to Tori Amos really takes me back to my high-school years, and I still have a major soft spot for the songstress. Though I don't play her CDs as much as I used to, I can't bring myself to get rid of them — particularly her lovely yet angsty 1992 volume Little Earthquakes.
So my nostalgic self was psyched to find this this video of Tori performing in the studio of Minnesota Public Radio's The Current. It's surprisingly artful for a studio vid (the shots of the piano from above are very cool), and I like the more delicate take on the track.
Since Creed's Spring Flowers is one of my all-time favorite fragrances, whenever I hear about new launches from this brand I get giddy. If only they weren't quite so expensive I think I'd own them all. The latest release from this privately held luxury fragrance company is called Amalfi Flowers.
