Hot on the heels of its
Charlotte Ronson deal, JCPenney has found its latest collaborator: Allen B. Schwartz. The mega-retailer has
enlisted the LA-based designer to create a trendy and fun collection of dresses and sportswear.

JCPenney is currently running a
Home Sale, offering 30 to 60 percent discounts on bed, bath, window, furniture, home décor, housewares, luggage, and rugs. JCPenney may not be the most haute retailer around, but it certainly has a lot to offer in the home department, including basics and decorative items. The prices are pretty stunning, and there are actually a lot of items I've got my eye on.
Charlotte Ronson's
deal with J.C. Penney is a win-win situation. Penney's gets a hip boost in their contemporary department while Ronson soaks in the mass market appeal.
Danielle11's colorblocking skills are refined and ready for a day at work. She snazzed up her outfit with a pair of
classy cut-out heels. The dark color and svelte shape give her cute look an extra flair.

I've been impressed by the quality and style of the Linden Street line of home goods from JCPenney (as has green guru
Danny Seo). Now, their entire line is on sale, and there are some great items I wouldn't mind adding to my casa. One piece that immediately caught my eye was the
Linden Street Rustic Bird Table Lamp (originally $100, now $49.99).

There are
a variety of leaning bookcases out there in the home décor world, some of which would make a great
desk for a small bedroom. But why shell out $399 for one when you can pay $99? The
JCPenney 35" Wide Leaning Bookshelf ($99) is a pretty fab steal, made of engineered and solid wood with an outlet price.

If you want to add some old-fashioned romance to your boudoir, look no further than the
French Country Bed (queen on sale for $539, regularly $899). While it may look a little bit like
Brocade Home (though of course, Brocade claims that there's nothing country about their French furniture), the price is significantly cheaper. From the Chris Madden For JCPenney Home Collection, this whitewashed bed features woven cane and is constructed from solid wood and molded resin.

In an attempt to get in with the in crowd, JCPenney has teamed up with Baby Phat founder Kimora Lee Simmons, in launching her exclusive juniors line, Fabulosity. The brand will encompass the same trendy elements as its sister label but at lower price points, between $29 to $108, in comparison to Baby Phat's $30 to $200 range.
"The Fabulosity girl is fun, fashionable and chic, but she doesn't want to spend her last penny on something to wear.

I never thought I'd say it . . .
