Like a lot of you, I love Ikea. I would never want to outfit my apartment solely with Ikea products, but there are a lot of items in the store that are so versatile that I can easily integrate them into my house. The issue with Ikea products, for me, is that there's often a huge range in quality among items.

Ladypie decided to turn this dull
Ikea clock into something a little more design forward. Here's how the clock looked before she got her hands on it.

I'm truly surprised by the ingenuity of the readers and DIYers on
Ikea Hacker, a site that documents home enthusiasts' adventures in transforming Ikea furniture and accessories into something unexpected. Take Markus, a DIYer with an enthusiasm for the "As-Is" section in Ikea (I admit that I, as well, love this section). He
says, "My favorite area of Ikea is the 'As-Is' section.

You may recall my enthusiasm for
Bumkins long-sleeved bibs. The nifty shields keep things clean during eating hours, but they're also stain savers for art projects and cooking experiments. If you're a fan of them, you may be cheering for joy when you see the more affordable options!

Now through Tuesday, Nov. 11, Ikea is offering
up to 20 percent off of kitchen purchases. Those of you who are doing kitchen remodels, listen up!

You can use the $1,000 to create your own gorgeous outdoor or indoor space, just like I did at Park(ing) Day.

We had a great time at
Park(ing) Day on Friday, and kept comfortable, thanks to the fact that
Ikea provided all the furniture and accessories for my Park(ing) Day Park! I found some adorable indoor and outdoor furniture and cute accessories for my temporary park.

As you may know, on Friday I participated in
Park(ing) Day and created my very own park (complete with sod!) on the streets of San Francisco. You can check out a video of the day
here. Ikea was nice enough to sponsor the park, lending me some pretty fab furniture to deck out my Sweet Spot.

If you've been reading CasaSugar for any time at all, you know that I love
Ikea. With its reasonable prices, versatile pieces, and great seasonal finds, I always find an excuse to wander the massive aisles at least a few times a month.
So, I'm excited to tell you that Ikea is sponsoring CasaSugar's
Park(ing) Day site, and providing all of our furniture for the day.
