After designers showcased multiple braids this season, including the
skinny pirate plaits at Jean Paul Gaultier, the braid could well be crowned the hair trend of the 2008. While
most of you love this look it has become a touch ubiquitous in celebrity world, with both Nicole Richie and
Jessica Simpson making the trend their own, with single, double and triple braid styles.
Last night, at Dolce in London, Jennifer Ellison followed suit with a Grecian, milkmaid braid wrapped around the crown of her head, as well as a fluffed-up, pulled-back up do.

Don't you want to be friends with Zooey Deschanel. She's a good actress, she's
in a band, and she always shows off great style. I love how she always looks like a cool girl you'd see in real life, especially because I doubt she has a giant glam squad.

When TeamSugar member

tips on ways to sell yourself that aren't used and everyone else who is trying to get into the door,
ilanic13 offered some very useful insight that I didn't want any of you to miss.
Something that I've definitely learned in my years in the professional world is that sometimes you don't have to be the most qualified, but the most agreeable, the one that fits in the environment best, or the most willing to learn and throw yourself into it. I think sometimes that is more important than having skills, since it's often the people who are passionate about something that see things through the roughest of times.

With Tropical Storm Gustav
making its way through the Caribbean, I've got hurricanes on the mind. When I lived in New Orleans, to prepare for a storm, I'd basically move my bed to the center of the room away from the windows, and move things off the floor onto my mattress: pretty amateur and useless preparations. I lived in a rental then, so I guess I didn't really care about protecting the property.

Cantaloupe is one of those things that I see a lot in salad bars and packaged fruit salads but rarely in bagged lunches or at friends' homes. Perhaps if more people knew the right way to cut this fragrant melon, it would be more of a household staple. View this slideshow to learn how simple cantaloupe is to prepare.

Time to ditch the sarong and stop hiding behind the cover-ups.
For a beach body, like Kelly Brook, Kate Moss or Cameron Diaz, just follow these results-orientated exercises, plus beauty treatments, for an A-list body you'll want to show off.
Legs like Kate Moss
The vibrating
power plate is the ultimate leg toner and has also been shown to help prevent and reduce cellulite.
For legs like Kate (see pic below), hold onto the bars and squat – slowly pushing back your bum until your knees are at a 90 degree angle. Squeeze your bum cheeks and push back up. Aim for two sets of around 50 seconds, three or four times a week.

Bliss Fat Girl Slim, (£28), to diminish cellulite and help tone up your pins.

Call me crazy, but Solange Knowles is rapidly becoming one of my favorite celebrities — and not just because of her famous big sister.
Her music is catchy, and she seems content letting big sister B be the pop superstar of the family. Plus, she's willing to take some risks with her style.

Charlize Theron never fails to wow me with her beauty – I get the impression that she must be truly breathtaking in person.
At the premiere of Hancock, with Will Smith, in Tokyo, yesterday, she was certainly working the trends.

Holiday beauty can go one of two ways – either you see it as a chance to relax about your regime; give your skin a break from makeup and just generally aim for a laid back beauty look – or else you up the ante with the time to really experiment with new looks, and all that partying.
Personally, I do laid back in the day, for by the beach, and at night crank up the volume with glowing skin,
bright lights, bold colour and experimenting with new products.
Here's how to take your look from beach to bar: Just
- Hair: Start prepping your hair during the day. Protect from the sun, and get ready for the evening, by using non-oil based products.

About a month ago, I finally brushed the dust off my old gadgets and decided to get them in tip-top sellable condition for sites like Craigslist and eBay. Although the process may look easy, there is actually a lot of steps you need to follow to make those used cameras and MP3 players look as good as new. And who better to show us exactly how it's done than eBay's gadget and toy director, the fabulous and funny
Cat Schwartz.
