Wall stickers may be waning in popularity, but I still have a soft spot for any stickers made in particularly fresh designs. This Gnomes and Mushrooms Decal ($16) is one of the cutest things I've seen in a long time. I have a keen affection for gnomes as it is, but when they're reinterpreted in solid black, they take on a surprisingly modern air.

This jolly set of CAKE Chrome Gnomes ($42) is new at Design Public, and I gotta get my hands on them. I know they're just decorative ceramic figurines, but they're so cute they make me smile. I almost wish they were s&p shakers—wouldn't that be better?
