Mary Jane Minkin, MD, explains that extra body fat makes extra estrogen which has the ability to hinder ovulation in women, and new research reveals that those excess pounds on men could damage their precious sperm.

Since exercising gives you those "feel-good endorphins," hit the gym and keep your BMI between 20 and 24.9 — your body and boyfriend will thank you!

Leona Gossips with Glamour About Katy, David and Lou

Following her performance at Westfield London's launch last week, Leona Lewis is British Glamour magazine's December cover girl, and chats about love with boyfriend Lou, girl crushes, meeting Becks and fashion choices. Here are the highlights:

On Katy Perry admitting to a girl crush on her: "It's very flattering. She came to one of my gigs in LA. I thought she was really funny and really lovely."
On her fashion choices: "When it comes to my clothes don't wear any animal products and I don't wear really mini miniskirts. A good length skirt is a must-have for me... I love a good pair of skinny jeans and a good top. That's what I'm happiest wearing."
On how she spends her down-time: "I'll meet up with my friends and chill out at home. I love horse-riding, too, so I'll go down to the stables."
On meeting David Beckham at the Olympics: "I was starstuck. No, I didn't fancy him. He's very good-looking but he's a dad with a family — I was more in awe of him."
On her boyfriend Lou: "I've grown up with him so we're like two peas in a pod and he definitely keeps me grounded. We've always been a strong couple, so there's never been a danger of that bond breaking. We're often together, although we're not pictured very much because I know exactly where to go and where not to go."

At the end of the interview Leona reveals that has something in common with Kate Moss' daughter Lila Grace: a love of the smell of petrol! It's great to see Leona still has her feet firmly on the ground after such huge success. Victoria Beckham Goes For Glamour

Victoria Beckham looked every inch the glamour puss in her monochrome ensemble and signature Louboutins as she boarded a flight from Los Angeles to London yesterday. She's on the cover of British Glamour this month, promoting her new fragrance and talking about family, fashion and food. Here are the highlights:

On her signature style: "I wouldn't want to stop experimenting, but at the same time I do have certain signature things. For instance, I always wear Christian Louboutins ... Hermes are my signature bag."
On pregnancy and her boys: "I'm not pregnant and I'm not trying to get pregnant at the moment. I'm so lucky to have the boys and they're such great kids. Nice, free spirits and incredibly polite, which I think is very important. But it takes a lot of energy and the thought of having another baby now would be a little bit much. Maybe in a year or two but right now, I'm having amazing career opportunities and I want to enjoy the boys."
On cooking: "I'm very good at lasagne and spaghetti Bolognese. I don't eat them myself because I'm vegetarian. But for David the night before a game, it's good to make sure he has protein and carbohydrates, and it's good for the kids as well. I'm very good at Dora The Explorer cup cakes, too — out of a packet."

Can You Be Too Intimate?

Intimacy is a relationship necessity, but is there such a thing as too much intimacy? This is something I consistently debate with my girlfriends, which is why I was so glad to see it broached by Jake of Married Jake, one of Glamour's love and sex blogs.

Jake was confounded when his new wife asked him not to pee in front of her anymore. Her rationale is that now that they're in it for the long haul, they need to actually try and maintain the mystery. Certainly, the longevity of a serious relationship can allow people to get too comfortable, but once you've hit a certain level of intimacy, I'm not sure it's possible to just go back.

Instead, I'd recommend embracing your established level of familiarity but throw in an element of surprise. Develop that closeness in a new context — go on a trip or try playing out a sexual fantasy. I suppose this means I'm all for intimacy — though of course I think privacy, personal space, and alone time are important too — but what do you all think? Like Jake's wife thinks, is it possible to be too intimate? And if so, how do you maintain the mystery?

Film actress Jean Harlow was America's sex symbol of the 1930s. Also known as the "Platinum Blonde" and the "Blonde Bombshell," this glamorous, gorgeous woman embodied Hollywood glamour. Starring in such films as Red Dust and Platinum Blonde, she appeared onscreen beside leading men Spencer Tracy, Clark Gable, and James Cagney.

This actress, whose personal life was marked by tragedy, was absolutely magnetic onstage and onscreen, and the immense force of her personality is still evident today, with stars such as Gwen Stefani emulating her look (Stefani, in fact, played Harlow in The Aviator). But sometimes I feel like I should be entitled to a little glamour in my life, even if I'm not making appearances at red carpet events. Fearne Cotton was on presenting duties as usual this weekend at Radio One, and had yet another bag I am lusting after – seriously, how many Mulberry bags does this girl own?! Well, in October's issue of British Glamour magazine, Fearne has her own shopping supplement – Fearne's Fashion Bible – in which she says she owns 35 bags, 80 pairs of shoes (not including trainers) and has three rooms in her house filled with clothes and accessories. Despite the embarrassingly hideous and enormous pile of magazines next to my bed, I was able to unearth one cool piece among the mountain. Glamour caught up with Meghan McCain on the campaign trail this month and found out the "12 Things" we don't know about her. Here are my favorite quotes from the flaxen first daughter to be.
