Perhaps it's just because
I love chrysanthemums, but I simply adore the
CB2 Burst Rug ($499, reduced from $599). Its design may be a bit pared down, but its cheerful and lively petals make up for it; they're nearly bursting off the rug itself. The brick orange color is also perfect for the Fall season.

I'm not a purple person. I think I overdosed on the color at a very young age because my mother lives and breathes purple . .

Radiant floor heating is a highly efficient heating system that involves heating the floor with electric tubes or a hydronic (hot water tubes) system beneath the floor boards. The way it works is that heat is delivered directly from the floors, warming up any objects (furnishings) or people they strike, which in turn radiate that heat. It is more efficient than traditional forced-air heating because no energy is lost through the air ducts, and hydronic systems use little electricity and can also be heated by a variety of energy sources.

I've long been a fan of the
West Elm Cable Rug, due to its plushness, muted gray or ivory color, and its modern look. But, I've heard that the shag rug has a terrible shedding problem, and I worry that it'll go out of style fast. So, I'm delighted with the new
West Elm Chunky Plaited Wool Rug ($119-599), which looks equally soft, is offered in the same muted gray or ivory, and is notably modern.

A pair of young, entrepreneurial celebrities "designed" these rugs. Can you guess who they are? Name one.

Two of my good friends just returned from a European adventure, and since one of them is an architect, they snapped a ton of photos of architectural elements. I was particularly taken by this patterned floor, found in a building in Slovakia, which I initially thought was wood. It's marble though, and absolutely gorgeous at that.

We've seen an influx of striking
outdoor rugs this year, made from polypropylene that can be hand washed or hose cleaned in second but with the good looks of an indoor rug. That's great and everything, but I want to know when a bath mat is going to come along that's not simply white and furry. Who decided that bath mats had to be plain and oh-so-boring?

I’ve shown you plenty of crave-worthy
rugs in the past with bold patterns and colors that really command attention in a room — rugs that really wow you. But there’s something to be said for understated luxury. For example, the simple lattice design of the
Martha Stewart Gate Rug ($359-$4,099) is distinguished and subtly beautiful, with a single color (salmon, blue maize, curry, or mist) and an uncomplicated repeating pattern.

Carpet can add comfort appeal to your home, but it's also difficult to clean and can be a nuisance when you decide to switch up your home's color scheme. Some swear by it, and others are partial to hardwood and various types of tile. How about you?

Hi Casa,
I have fallen deeply in love with a beautiful Madeline Weinrib rug,
The Brooke Chenille in Watermelon. The Tibetan pattern, the bright pink color . .
