This group of Resort looks can best be described in three "L" words: loose, layering, and legs. Things are shaping up pretty nicely for my Winter vacation. I can choose to be whimsy, like at Lanvin (pictured) or Cynthia Rowley; I can be downright bold, seen at Naeem Kahn and Malandrino; or, I can play it cool wearing Jason Wu, Max Azria, and Vera Wang.

As a geek and avid beach bum, I hate to restrict my love for net surfing and reading just because of those strong sun rays. I know, most of you thought the LapDome on the left was totally freakish, rightly so, as it's not everyday you see people sporting "tents" with their laptops inside. But it does offer that shelter your laptop desperately craves in the hot sun, and removes that nasty glare which makes it humanly impossible to see anything on your screen.

We're sad to see our favorite TV shows head to hiatus for another Summer, but luckily the stars of the small screen are still coming out to play in Hollywood. Last night Alyson Hannigan, Minka Kelly, and Taylor Momsen got dolled up for the 36th Annual FiFi Awards in NYC. The ladies helped honor the night's big winners, which included Daisy Marc Jacobs and Intimately Beckham Women.

Word is that Metropolitan Home's latest issue features this pink hose ($10) "designed" by Cynthia Rowley. While the color pink may not make your plants grow any faster, it'll certainly make your yard look good while you do the dirty work. I couldn't find the hose online anywhere, but something tells me it soon will be, or perhaps it's available in store already.

Building on the success of her cosmetics partnership with Avon, designer Cynthia Rowley is planning to launch a new scent with the brand. Actually, make that two scents, as she's bringing a mother-daughter fragrance duo to the market.
Launching in the US in May, Flower and Petal are coming out just in time for Mother's Day. “The idea was to create two fragrances, one for mother and one for daughter, intended to work together or independently,” Cynthia explains on the fragrance microsite.
