A witch's cat is a failsafe costume choice for flirty sex kittens and if you don't want to go all out like Heidi Klum did last year, then you can just create feline-like makeup and wear black leggings and boots.

By now, most of you know that in addition to fashion I also love animals. I am, after all, mommy to my Frenchie Annabelle. Imagine taking our favorite animals and pairing them with the industry's hottest models and the world's most sought-after designers. Welcome to the animal hause! I've been noticing many a editorial featuring our furry, and not-so-furry, friends: dogs, monkeys, elephants, cats, cheetahs. Oh, and an eland (a type of antelope) like the one model Behati Prinsloo is battling in April's Harper's Bazaar. Some of these are sexy, some are scary, some serious, and some comical. With springtime coming up, I've been scouring my fave shops for some cool and light tees to wear when the weather gets warmer. Since I hardly ever have time to shop, between work and spending QT with North and his BFF's at the doggie parks, I usually reserve shopping time for weekends or online. Thankfully, being the animal lover that I am, there are tons of goodies out there that will allow me to display my love for the animal kingdom any time I want. Cruising over Urban Outfitters' latest duds, I saw that they had a number of creature-inspired looks that got me on my own PetMarking mission for themed tee shirts. Aimeeb shared an adorably girl photo of her kitty Jezebel in the Pets in the House TeamSugar group. Aimeeb says,

My little Jezebel just loves being a girl. Every time I take out my cosmetic bag she makes it a point to tip it over, pull everything out and make it her new home. She truly is a girly girl, just like her mom.

Sweetpeabrina shared some cute photos of her kitties in the Pets in the House TeamSugar group. I love this photo of Penny, especially because Sweetpeabrina notes that Penny's always up to no good. She explains this shot by saying,

We were watching some celebrity gossip show like TMZ on TV or E! News one Saturday morning. She adores celebrity gossip. I think it's impossible to keep kitties off of furniture. Well, maybe not everyone's kitties, just Penny. She's on the bed, on the ironing board, on the top of the kitchen cabinets, on top of the TV, on the couches, inside the wine rack, in my basket of fabric, behind the washing machine, and under the bathroom sink. She's everywhere but in her bed!

Weird (and Cool) Furniture: Fill in the Cat

NEL, an evolving collective of Mexican designers, came up with the interior design-oriented art project "Fill in the Cat," which was executed by artists Ricardo Casas, Héctor Esrawe, Emiliano Godoy, Cecilia León de la Barra, and Óscar Núñez constructed a line of furniture/art pieces that feline fans will find to be the cat's meow. Explaining their creation, they write:

Three characters disappear from large, solid white blocks, and their absence suddenly makes them important. The resulting emptiness is filled with the user's belongings and through this action the silhouettes' meaning shifts. The pieces suggest a continuous play between interaction and representation, where daily use generates a continuously changing story: a cat that reads Italo Calvino, a book filled with coins, a living room where birds come to eat the cake's crumbles. . . .

This furniture, which was completed in 2006, was shown at Salone Satellite. Along with additional pieces from their furniture line, all made from expanded polystyrene (EPS). Perhaps if enough of us request it, this piece will go into mass production.
