You might not have heard about light therapy within skin care, and so I thought I'd shed a little light on the subject. (Zing! Tip your waitress, try the veal!) In simple terms, light therapy — also called phototherapy — uses different wavelengths of light to combat acne and stimulate collagen production.

Stop seeing spots and start enjoying your pregnancy. It's upsetting for an expectant mama to find her once flawless skin covered in blemishes, but instead of committing to nine months of hats and big sunglasses, there are a few things a mommy-to-be can do to keep her skin (and her confidence level) in check.
- Don't overwash your face — two times a day is plenty.

Buyers beware: The Food and Drug Administration has announced the voluntary, nationwide recall of one-ounce tubes of 10 percent benzoyl peroxide manufactured by CSI USA because of possible contamination. The acne creams are found under the following names:
- Equate: Medicated Acne Gel sold at Wal-Mart stores.

Some of the lots of the company's Gallatin, Tenn. facilities contained bacteria identified as Burkholderia Cepacia, which can pose a health hazard for some people.

When it comes to unconventional zit creams, I've put toothpaste, baby powder, and even eggs on my face for a quick fix. But personal lubricant? Um, haven't tried that one.

Recently, the FDA issued a

The costume designer for
Annie Hall, Ruth Morley, essentially created androgynous dressing for women. Ok, not literally but Diane Keaton's title character shows how women can wear mens style clothes and still look stylish.
This season as
chinos sneak back in to fashion Annie's style is relevant once again.

Pimple-stopping devices are great — if you can afford to shell out the big bucks for them. In fact, in
comparing Zeno to Thermaclear, one of my main complaints about the otherwise awesome Zeno was its price. Oh, but times have changed!
