I just came across the
Lisa Stickley Custard Cream Tablecloth ($287 and up) and
Duck Plates Tablecloth ($287 and up) at Rose & Radish, and I'm completely smitten. Stickley has incorporated a
trompe-l'œil effect onto her printed textiles, giving the illusion that her tablecloths are topped with traditional British tea plates. The Custard Cream Tablecloth is printed with floral china patterns with painted rims, and the Duck Plates Tablecloth is based on her own grandfather's duck-themed tea service.

If raising a green baby is your goal, feast your eyes on the
Green Lullaby Cradle from Rose and Radish. Constructed from cardboard, this sweet sleeper doesn't require a hammer, nail or a screwdriver — just a few bends and folds.
Priced at $107, the white rocker comes with a mattress and a clean surface — perfect for your own decorative ideas.

I don't know what it is about
butterflies lately, but they've had my heart all aflutter. The cutout butterflies on the
Mixko Delight Belle Light ($49, reduced from $83) are quite dainty and appeal to the side of me that secretly loves pink, unicorns, and party dresses. And I love how the light just seems to peek through its skirted edge.

Ages ago I wrote a Trend Alert on
Yummy Candles, which began with a Point à la Ligne Macaroon Candle Set that was tragically out of stock at Rose and Radish.
Like Sofia Coppola, I love all things macaroon: the colors, the taste, the packaging, the hard-to-come-by quality, and their fancy French origins. And, obviously it's in my nature to treasure home décor.

The folks at Rose and Radish recently took a trip to Munich to visit the Royal Bavarian Porcelain Manufactory Nymphenburg, which has been one of the world's finest producers of porcelain for 250 years. In the shop's journal, they wrote, "One of the greatest parts of the Munich trip was being able to use the porcelain during the entire visit. Our favorite snack was gummi bears on the Ted Muehling Bird's Wing Dish."

Rose and Radish put it precisely when they wrote, "Sometimes you need a lamp shade that is both understated and extremely eye-catching." The
Nicolette Brunklaus Large Delight Shade ($797) is both of those things, and oh so much more. It's also evidence of the
growing flocking trend, as well as playful, modern, and elegant.

As further evidence of the omnipresence of
nonsouvenir matryoshka dolls, the
jm2 Matriochka Blackboard ($113) has come all the way from Lyon, France to the shelves of Rose and Radish here in San Francisco. Much like the
DIY Nesting Doll I wrote about, this blackboard inspires creativity. Although it'd be funny to read Bart Simpson's
infamous blackboard comments here, I'd much rather see how one could interpret the traditional doll with some colored chalk, perhaps draw some embroidery, and arms with bling bangles sticking out from under her cape.
CocoAngel recently posted in the CasaSugar group with a decorating quandary, and I thought that you might be able to help her out. She writes, "I'm just finishing up redecorating my daughter's room and having trouble finding accessories, specifically a bird cage. She changed her bed spread to
this birds and bird cages design (see left), so a black-wire bird cage would be a fantastic item to add to the room.

This
Anne Kyyro Quinn Tulip Cushion ($360) has a wool body and felt "tulip" appliques handsewn across the top of the pillow. I can't help thinking this pillow's been misnamed though — it looks a lot more like
red ginger

The
Carlo Moretti Vase ($33.60) is a two-toned, hand-colored glass vase available in an assortment of colors. Each vase is unique (but about 5 inches tall) so you must specify the color scheme you're looking for. It would make a cheerful housewarming gift for a friend, or provide a much-needed punch of color in a plain vanilla room in your personal abode.
