In addition to the fabulous wardrobes and beautiful faces in the now-defunct or maybe not Lipstick Jungle, the interiors are also something to fawn over, as we've seen with Wendy Healy's relaxed interior style. But Healy isn't the only one with a keen eye for design. Nico Reilly, editor-in-chief of the hot fashion magazine Bonfire, has a high-rise office that's as slick and no-nonsense as she. Her office is modern and minimal to give off a professional face for clients, but her stylish accessories add personal flair to the space. For example, her chair and sofa are simple in white, but their button tufting and mid-century modern legs give them hip appeal. As the holidays approach, I've had festive dinner party décor on my mind. While some of you may want to get crafty with a paper wreath, others may prefer to keep the holiday kitsch to a minimum. I was impressed with this table setting in Samantha Who? as it manages to look seasonally appropriate for a Thanksgiving or Christmas party without incorporating any jingle bells, snowflakes, or gobble-gobbling turkeys. Without much fuss, the orangey-red bouquet, napkins, and dinnerware make it appropriate for either Nov. 27 or Dec. 25, and the metallic vases and place mats give it a celebratory, glittery appeal. Of the three main characters on Lipstick Jungle, Brook Shields's character Wendy Healy is my favorite. A movie exec with two kids and a gorgeous husband, Wendy's bohemian and relaxed loft apartment is the perfect hideaway from her busy work life. Get the Look: Mad Men — Doctor Wayne's Office

While I've told you about how to get the look of the Mad Men set, from Helen Bishop's living room to Don Draper's office, I still have more to share with you. The sets from this show are just too fabulous to ignore, so I'm going to take you through a few more ideas for recreating the show's unique, mid-century look.

There's something so decadent about Betty Draper's scenes at her psychiatrist's office. Perhaps it's the fact that she's alone, doing something for herself for once, and not tending to her children or house or husband. Here's how to get this look at your own home (though bald-headed Freudian psychiatrist not provided, sorry).

The Chaise Lounge Simple, mid-century, distinguished, and leather hit all the marks. You can keep it classic, with black leather and a modern shape, or think a little further outside the box.

The Doctor's Chair Think: imposing, authoritarian, removed, and omnipotent.

Get the Look: It Takes Two

I may have been mystified by the synchronized swimmers during the 2008 Olympics, but they're not the only proof of value in symmetry. By using symmetry as a starting-off point for decorating your interiors, you can create a strong visual theme that looks polished, but not necessarily stiff.

To get this look, you should start by centering your sofa on one wall, preferably in front of a window. Then, pair a set of bookcases and a set of chairs on either side. In front of your sofa, set a trio of modular side tables and an area rug beneath them. Set a pair of matching throw pillows on the sofa. You've now created your room's architectural focal point, so it's time to offset that with some accents. Geek Goods: Macs in the Closet on The CW's Privileged

The girls of Privileged certainly fit their show's title; spoiled sisters Rose and Sage are being tutored by the hapless Megan, and while their personalities are nothing I envy, I am totally jealous of their closet. Not for the size or the clothes inside, but for its setup: They have back-to-back, hers-and-hers iMacs! In a walk-in closet! I am swooning every time I look at it.

Get the Look: Mad Men — Helen Bishop's Living Room

AMC's Mad Men hits the mark on so many levels, from its spot-on, witty dialogue to its vintage geekery and sexy '60s looks. I, of course, am all atwitter over the awesome interiors.

The next room I'll break down is Helen Bishop's living room. Helen, neighbor to the Drapers, is the (scandalous!) single mom in the show. It's fairly casual, since it's mainly used for entertaining her son and watching TV. I love the individual elements of the room, and I've created some updated takes on the original look.

The Sofa: For a slight update, I chose solid color sofas with slightly cleaner lines than Helen's sofa, but which maintain the same period authenticity.
