Growing up, I had to do my share of household chores, as did my siblings, but I definitely have memories of throwing a fit when asked to; I was a spoiled brat at times. We never had an organized system or schedule
like a chore chart, and my poor mother did most of the housework. But then again, we did also have a
cleaning lady.

After getting my
Project Runway fix tonight, I'm settling in for another hour of reality fun.
Top Design returns tonight for its second season, with head judge
Jonathan Adler and host India Hicks, whom
I recently interviewed. Are you going to tune in, too.

At one point in my life, this would be a no-brainer for me. Back when all of my boyfriends (and myself, too) hung out on skateboards and in skateboard parks, this would've been a perfect addition to our homes. Can you see any room for it in yours?

The
Cosmo Bathtub (about $4,580 US) comes equipped with massage jets and a 17-inch flatscreen television. I, for one, don't associate television watching with relaxing baths, but maybe I'm just a Luddite. Would you soak in this high-tech tub?

I can imagine giving this as a gag gift to a neurosurgeon, or maybe the head of the Mathletes team, but I shudder when I think about putting it in my home. The
MYBrain lamp (inquire for price) is just a little too realistic for my taste. How about you?

There's something undeniably luxurious about upholstered headboards. Are you a fan?

As Tropical Storm Gustav makes its way toward the Gulf Coast, practically three years to the day after Hurricane Katrina hit (which I myself experienced firsthand), I'm feeling pretty uneasy. The storm has already
killed 11 people in the Caribbean and is
projected to hit Louisiana and the Gulf Coast on Monday. Yikes.

Many people prefer neutral colors when choosing a sofa, but bright jewel tones can really pack a design punch. What's your style?

I've long loved the
Ikea Hemnes Four-Poster Bed, and while I love the composition of this room, I'm not so sold on the half-painted bed. What's your take.

While absolutely unsightly, sometimes fly tape is necessary, especially in spots like porches and decks. Do you use it in your home?
