As if it wasn't obvious throughout the year: I have a serious girl crush on
Diane Kruger. It must have been all her stunning red-carpet looks that did me in. You all voted
Reese for best red-carpet style of 2007 — yes, that canary, Nina Ricci cocktail dress will go down in history — but I've been monitoring Diane throughout the year.
Wow, so many of you
are smitten with Rachel Bilson's sidewalk style. The girl is consistently cute in boots and scarves, but that's just the problem for me — she's too consistent and not spontaneous enough sometimes. Petite fashion-maven
Ashley Olsen, on the other hand, always spices things up with chunky heels and funky accessories.
Bright colors make me happy so I was thrilled to know that
you all feel the same emotion.
Lanvin spearheaded the return of color this year with its
delicious jewel-tone frocks and others followed suit. True, menswear, global-chic, sheerness, and artsy touches were equally prevalent, but they all dimmed next to the return of color.
Remember
taking tally of which pooches we thought would reign supreme when the final numbers came in from the American Kennel Club. Well, that time is now as here's the AKC ordered list of the top 10 most popular dog breeds in the country based on the number of those dogs registered in 2006. There's was some shaking up and I can't wait to learn about 2007.
We've spent the last couple weeks having lots of fun reminiscing about all our
favorite things in 2007. From the most
adorable families to
couples we can't take our eyes off and endless
starlet drama, it was a year we won't soon forget. We can't wait to see everything that 2008 has in store.
We all play favorites when it comes to sports and it looks like soccer is FitSugar's readers'
favorite sport to play. This is especially cool since a recent study found that
soccer beats running in weight loss as well as fun. There's a great camaraderie that develops in team sports and all volleyball fans were a little offended that volleyball was not a choice.
Despite the hefty competition,
Jennifer Garner, claims the title of the
healthiest celebrity of 2007. Even though you picked
David Beckham as your favorite fit male and
Jessica Biel as your favorite fit female, Garner definitely is the picture of good health. From constantly
checking out the local farmers market, to doing
weights with her trainer, to playing
outside with her adorable daughter, she's one healthy mommy.
