The Little Black Box

Lately I've been obsessed with The Little Black Box. It's a sample box filled with an assortment of items from indie artists across the web, with a good majority coming from etsy.com sellers. Every month there's a new box for sale, and every month there's different artists featured in the box. What's great about The Little Black Box is that each new box is different and a surprise, like Christmas once a month! I've only ordered the past three boxes and I'm already addicted. I have a considerable collection of earrings, magnets, and soap started already. There's also always some sort of photography included in the box too, along with crocheted items, stationary, buttons, candles, and any other sort of thing you can think of.

Nearly all the jewelery I've received has been incredibly cute, and the candles and soaps have all smelled great! A few of my favorite things I've gotten from the box are a magnet made from a vintage 1940's map of Spain from Historically Inspired Designs and, the best yet, Spoonfudge from Glutenada! The yummiest fudge that you eat with a spoon! I'll definitely be ordering some more of that soon, especially with the 15 percent off coupon included with the sample. Actually, almost all of the samples come with a coupon code of some sort which makes the box an even better deal.

In there is a full sized bar of all natural handmade soap, Body Butter from Pink Bow Bath Boutique, a pair of sterling silver earrings with Swarovski Crystals, Spoonfudge!, mini star shaped candle tarts, a coin purse, a ring, a pair of bead earings, a notepad, some blank cards, a cell phone charm, two pretty flower photograph prints, and a little goldfish magnet made from a recycled scrabble tile. (I forgot a few bars of soap, including the prettiest little square of sugar plum scented soap from Soap Sushi and a kitty toy which seems to have disappeared along with the bag it came in...)

The box's price fluctuates on a month by month basis, but shipping is always included in the price.
