Casa Link: Garden Update

Leslie at AT:SF brings readers a lovely, humble, and uplifting update on her Winter garden. And while East Coast and Midwest readers may envy us West Coasters for our ability to garden year-long, Winter gardening in the San Francisco Bay Area is often an endless battle of torrential downpours, too-little sunlight, and ravenous snails. She's decided to not dwell on her chewed-upon produce and turn her attention to composting for the time being. Leslie has my full congratulations on her efforts — and if it's any consolation, my broccoli hasn't gotten much bigger than that, either! Read the whole story here.

I live in South West Florida, where we too can garden all year Smiling My broccoli got huge, but never produced any veggies. Sad Best of luck!

I'm in the Northeast and there is no way I can even begin to think about a garden.

I'm definitely all set with gardening, but my father loves it...he grows so many veggies in his. I never have to buy any in the summer!
