Skulls might be coming back from the dead for the next couple days since it's time to celebrate Día de los Muertos, but they're also having a comeback in the underworld of home interiors. Everything from doormats and rugs to candles, lamps, and chandeliers have been morbidly stamped with or shaped like a skull. I think a touch of ghoulish humor chez toi is sexy, dangerous, and definitely a must. A lil' bit of bones never hurt anyone, right? Click the images below to see what I've dug up.

Some of these are way cute! I tend to stay away from skulls because they're overdone for the most part but these items are way more chic.

I love skulls/skull & crossbones, but to me a lot of this kind of stuff comes of tacky. I would love to have those pillows or hand towels though!

i love skulls! i have that 'life in the 21st' pillow and i get tons of compliments on it.

i like the pirates! and that chandalier is so cute! if i had a huge house that was sort of gothic i would definitely want it!

That chandelier is way over the top. My fave thing has got to be the MC Escher print. He's always been one of my favorites.
