Designer Spotlight: Commune Design

Commune Design is a design collective from Los Angeles. With a staff comprised of architects, graphic designers, interior designers (and several dogs), they combine their expertise to approach clients' needs from a number of viewpoints. They have worked for a number of residential clients in Hollywood and SIlver Lake, and have also completed projects for companies such as Juicy Couture and Oliver Peoples. I love the way that Commune Design incorporates rough, organic elements into these sleek, modern homes—something of a metaphor for LA itself, come to think of it.

I don't like the rug but I LOVE that sofa style, interesting mix of comfy and rustic. Moving into a new house in a couple weeks so really trying to pin my style down before then!
