cant wait for the renters options, i hate having white walls so i have all sorts of mis-matched posters and things on my walls which i think makes them even worse but i have to do something!!

I have tons of art, but no money to have it framed. Can you give us tips on DIY framing?

For all you renters out there, consider putting in a strip of wood along the ceiling and tacking fabric/curtains to it for a paint/wallpaper like effect with minimal holes to fill and no painting to be done!

i am also a renter. what about soundproofing issues? short of putting up padding, i guess.

oh, i am also wondering about framing - i paint on canvas but i don't like how "raw" it looks on the wall all the time.
