Minimalism done right is inspiring indeed, and I particularly love stark, peaceful looks in bedrooms. This interior, from the Swedish magazine Sköna hem, looks rustic yet modern; I love the wall-mounted lamp.

Simply simple!! Makes you want to down size the junk and clutter to the bare.

    I like it lots!
But I live in Calgary, where winter is around about a good 8 months a year and I could never have a white room.
    I would feel cold 24/7.

Oh usually I would LOVE this but today, this room makes me want to cry. It looks like a prison cell. A place where you would go to die. It's very depressing to me. Weird

This particular room isn't doing it for me, but I like the idea of any all white bedroom. I think it would need more texture than this room to work.

Is there a white straight jacket to go with this room. After awhile, I'd go a little stir crazy---NO DOUBT!

I like the design. I love all of the lines. But as some of the others who have posted, I don't think I'd personally like living there. But hey, if someone can live there without being depressed, then good for them.

Oh No! Not for me lol I love color & I love stuff, so this room is way to plain & bare for me. However I do like the mounted light.

Rooms like this totally make sense when you live in Scandinavia where the winters are long and dark. If you paint the walls any darker, the room will feel like a cave in the winter and be very depressing. It's also very nice in the summer when it reflects all the light we get from the Midnight Sun.

It looks like a room in a very old two story house. Maybe and attic space.

I like all the white, but feel as if something's missing. It needs some accessories (even if they're black/white/gray). Maybe a piece of artwork on that blank wall...just something.

I love the whole look! And minimalistic style is my fav one. Apart from that I love disco style and pop art. Sticking out tongue

    1. LOL cravinsugar cracked me up with the song reference
    2. Great room. But I would rather the bed off the floor. Looks too much like an air mattress like this.

I really like it. I usually don't like bare white rooms, but this one is doing it for me with the gaps between the wood panel, making it a full visual experience. Need a blankie though!

Twinkle is right, winters there are dark and long. They are at the same altitude as Alaska. The Gulf stream makes it warmer, but it is equally dark as Siberia.

Wow, that is stark! I usually like this style, but this could really use one or two colorful pieces. Maybe a pillow or a rug or a simple two color quilt at the foot of the bed.
