Whether they're earthy gold, modern silver, gilded, or glam, I simply cannot get enough of these starburst mirrors. Designed to echo shining stars and rays of sun — and, of course, to reflect light — this style of mirror has been around for a while, but lately, the look is showing up everywhere. It's made of broken colored glass stained tiles that were handmade in Indonesia and I got it for $20 down from $100.

I really like starburst mirrors but I think they aren't very functional as a mirror because the starburst takes up so much room. I'd rather just hang up a starburst decoration instead.

I think they're great if you have the retro theme going on in your house.. otherwise I think it'd look out of place.

I am a mirror fanatic. Call me vain, but they're supposed to be good feng shui! I have a moroccan-inspired starburst mirror I always position above my bed to fend away nightmares...

I *love* these things. I have always had a bigtime soft spor for mid-century anything. I don't have much budget for this stuff though, so I made my own. I bought round mirrors and dowels from Michael's and simply glued them into shape. It cost me about $10 and it's looks AWESOME.
