The comments from the politico Texas article show how open minded and non judgemental some libs are.

Yes, Texas will no longer have special status. And the state of Cheney will lose its 8 years of preferential (reverential) treatment.

I know this is shallow but, OH GOD someone call the fashion police. I have never seen that many denim shirts in one place. Please tell me they're wearing a group shirt or something.

I suppose some people would consider me a liberal although truly I'm a moderator bordering on conservative independent BUT I LOVE TEXAS! I've never been there, but I've always wanted to live there wit my pet longhorn. Truly people in Texas dream big and do amazing things that have altered the course of American history in both good and bad ways.

Texas will never lose its influence or importance. This nation would die without all of the contributions that Texas makes to our financial livelihood. And Texans are good people too.

The only time I've been to Texas was on a layover. And the power went out. In an airport. After 4 gate changes, boarding and unboarding (deboarding?) one plane, and one plane change, I wasn't in a hurry to go back!

Speaking of, I haven't seen him in awhile. Did you get mad at him and bury him in the back 40?

    Several reasons:

    1. He realized how you can get kind of fanatic about this site and check it often and that made him feel weird and guilty. Especially since he used to get annoyed when I did it and would complain about how much time I was on here. So, being the uber mature adult I am, when he started spending time on here I repeatedly pointed out the hard time he gave me. I'm a a wife. I can't help it.

    2. Some of the cattiness here was too much

    3. His job actually requires more time and hands on work than ours! lol
