Whether you have a trio of ceramic squirrels or a pre-fab deer head like this one, many of you have told me that you have some sort of fauna object in your house. If you have a wooden deer head above your mantel or a small outdoor statue of a frog or bird in your garden, do you decorate them for the holidays?

I always hang my mistletoe from a pretty ribbon on the neck of a pig that I have hanging at the entrance to my kitchen...it looks like a little necklace. I think I may sprinkle some lights on my deer head in my bedroom this year as well.

A number of years ago, I caught a striped blue marlin in Hawaii. We had it mounted. My favorite Christmas decoration is when I put a Santa hat over the top fin. Everybody enjoys it!
I also tie ribbons around the necks of our little busts of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Beethoven.
