Need a Reason to Lose Weight?

If you need another reason to keep your weight down, especially this holiday season, use better sex as your motivator! As stated in the December issue of Glamour magazine, research shows that sustaining a healthy weight can actually boost sex drive and fertility in both men and women. Mary Jane Minkin, MD, explains that extra body fat makes extra estrogen which has the ability to hinder ovulation in women, and new research reveals that those excess pounds on men could damage their precious sperm.

Since exercising gives you those "feel-good endorphins," hit the gym and keep your BMI between 20 and 24.9 — your body and boyfriend will thank you!

When I workout regularly my sex drive totally goes up, sometimes its a little insane. But, I had to take a break from working out, injury and my sex drive has mellowed out. I think exercising makes you feel good/sexy about yourself and can really put you in the mood.

I think I read a week or two ago on a different women's blog that overweight women have significantly more sex than "healthy weight" women. New pointless studies every week. Sticking out tongue To me, bottom line is, the better you feel, the more you'll enjoy most activities.

I wonder how many millions of our tax dollars go to grants for these studies... I've read the same report as annebreal, that heavyset women have more sex than women who are closer to the "healthy" weight.

My concern for my health is pretty selfish. I don't factor men into the equation. Laughing out loud My children need a healthy mother. I need to be content with my size. The right man will enjoy what he's given.

And I've argued all side of this issue...it's just a tool to make women argue over 'Team Bony' or 'Team Chubby'... it's unproductive and ineffective. Let Hollywood squabble. They are the experts and putting women down.

hmmm...i'm trying to figure out where my sex drive has gone lately. i'm skinny and i just don't feel the overwhelming urge to have sex like i used to, and i know that it's not because i'm not attracted to my man.

I hate studies like these. They do nothing for us as women. Be happy w/ yourselves, ladies!!
