Would You Use Alphabet Blocks as Drawer Pulls?

I spotted this photo on AT:SF, and I think it's such a clever, cute idea. AT:SF recommends using alphabet blocks as drawer pulls in a child's room, though I think it would be fun to spell out a cheeky word or phrase on an adult's dresser, too. Source

I think I might cut them at a slight angle though so you can grip it better. Especially if you're doing this to an older dresser where the drawers stick.

IMO, it would look weird on an adult dresser. Imagine bringing a date home and he sees your dresser with alphabet blocks pulls? I think it would freak him a bit.

rosadilla - I think it would depend on what the letters spelled.....maybe a nice way to give a new date some subliminal messages....

I like it for a kids room, but in order for those blocks to make it into my room, I would have to give it a paint job. Maybe paint it white and black.

And if a date can't accept me and my quirky

*And if a date can't accept me and my quirky design, then maybe we shouldn't be dating.

It just doesn't work for me. As a child, I played with alphabet blocks like crazy. I would worry that a child unscrewing the blocks and hurt themselves because they wanted to play with them!
