Love It or Hate It? Luxury Bath With Flatscreen

The Cosmo Bathtub (about $4,580 US) comes equipped with massage jets and a 17-inch flatscreen television. I, for one, don't associate television watching with relaxing baths, but maybe I'm just a Luddite. Would you soak in this high-tech tub?

Not sure how I could "hate" it. A bath is supposed to be relaxing but yet, I always find myself itching to get out, despite my level of comfort. A tv would be just the right tool to shrivel me up like a prune while keeping me updated on the most important affairs of society. Dare I say...worth every penny?

I don't like it. If want a television in the bathroom, then I would have a flat screen on the wall (at safe range) at the foot of my tub. Not to mention if someone were to splash or move wrong in the tub, it would end getting ruined by water damage.

Horrible. Just more proof that western society is addicted to electronics. Here's something new: Read a book!

I like the bathtub itself, but I don't see why a TV is necessary. You're supposed to relax in the tub, not sit in it and get all pruney while you watch TV -- go lay on the couch for goodness sake!

Oh my goodness, that is amazing. I love being in the bathtub, I would live there if I could. In fact, I find it the best place to concentrate, and used to study in the bathtub! If I had a television I would really never leave. Unfortunately, I think my husband would find a new love for the bath if I had this, and I would have no chance.

Lol, me too Roxtarchic.. it would be nicer a bit higher.

The thing about it.. your baby will always fall asleep again (at least that thought was comforting when my daughter had colic).. And when your baby boy gets to be a little older.. becomes a little more independent.. sleeps longer/harder at night.. you would have more time for a hot soooooak then in it. ha ha. Smiling (And then you'd be more relaxed for the day after he woke up from naptime.. Or your a$$ would be out cold for the night, zzzzz.)
